【摘要】:ThispartofIEC61482specifiesmethodstotestmaterialandgarmentsintendedforuseinheat-andflame-resistantclothingforworkersexposedtoelectricarcs.IncontrasttothetestmethodsinIEC61482-1-11)adirectedandconstrainedelectricarcinalowvoltagecircuitisusedtoclassifymaterialandclothingindefinedarcprotectionclasses.Thetestmethodsspecifiedinthisdocumentareaimedatrenderingadecisionwhetherarcthermalprotectionismetunderdefinedconditions.Twoprotectionclassesaretested.Protectionclass1andprotectionclass2aresafetyrequirementscoveringactualriskpotentialsduetoelectricfaultarcs.NOTE1Inpracticetherecanbehigherrisks.Ariskanalysisshouldclarifytheactualrisk.Thetestmethodsarenotdirectedtowardmeasuringthearcthermalperformancevalue(ATPV).MethodsdeterminingtheATPVareprescribedinIEC61482-1-1.Thisstandardspecifiestestswithwhichitispossibletoevaluatematerialsandprotectiveclothingbasedontheuseofadirectedandconstrainedelectricarcunderdefinedlaboratoryconditions(box-test).Apracticalscenarioconcerningtestset-upandtestconditions,electricalandconstructionalparametersisselected.Forthetestsalowvoltageprocedureisused.Thetestscanoptionallybecarriedoutintwofixedtestclasses,selectedbytheamountofprospectiveshortcircuitcurrent:Class14kA;Class27kA.Thedefineddurationoftheelectricarcis500msinbothtestclasses.NOTE2Theseconditionsrepresente.g.lowvoltageenvironmentalconditionsduringanelectricfault.Materialsandclothingwillbetestedwithtwomethods:thematerialboxtestmethodandthegarmentboxtestmethod.Thematerialboxtestmethodisusedtomeasureandfindmaterialresponsetoanarcexposurewhentestedinaflatconfiguration.Aquantitativemeasurementofthearcthermalperformanceismadebymeansoftheenergytransmittedthroughthematerial.Thegarmentboxtestmethodisusedtotestthefunctionoftheprotectiveclothingafteranarcexposure,includingallthegarmentfindings,sewingtread,fasteningsandotheraccessories;noheatfluxwillbemeasured.Testingreferstothethermalarceffects;itdoesnotapplytoothereffectslikenoise,lightemissions,pressurerise,hotoil,electricshock,theconsequencesofphysicalandmentalshockortoxicinfluences.
