【摘要】:1.1Thesetestmethodscoverproceduresforthesamplingandtestingofbrickandstructuralclaytile.Althoughnotnecessarilyapplicabletoalltypesofunits,testsincludemodulusofrupture,compressivestrength,absorption,saturationcoefficient,effectoffreezingandthawing,efflorescence,initialrateofabsorptionanddeterminationofweight,size,warpage,lengthchange,andvoidarea.(AdditionalmethodsoftestpertinenttoceramicglazedfacingtileareincludedinSpecificationC126.)1.2Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthestandard.Note18212;ThetestinglaboratoryperformingthistestmethodshouldbeevaluatedinaccordancewithPracticeC1093.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
