【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC16500describesthemanagementarchitectureandprotocolformanagingtheDAVICSystem.TheDAVICsystemmanagementarchitectureistheTMN-based(TelecommunicationManagementNetwork)architecturedefinedinITU-TRecommendationM.3010.Thismanagementarchitectureallowsforautomaticadministration,configuration,monitoring,billing,andmaintenanceoftheServiceProviderSystem,theDeliverySystem,andtheConsumerSystemovertheDAVICS5flows.InaccordancewithDAVIC1.3.1aPart4andISO/IEC16500-5,thecontentoftheseflowsisbasedoneithertheCMIPprotocolortheSNMPprotocol,dependingonthecomplexityoftheunderlyingsubsystemorthepreferenceofthenetworkprovider.SNMPMIBs(ManagementInformationBase)formanagingtheSTUandtheServerhavebeendefinedinISO/IEC16500-5.UsagerelatedinformationmodelshavealsobeendefinedinISO/IEC16500-9usingbothCMISEandSNMP.FormanagingtheATM,SDH/SONETcomponentsoftheCoreNetworkoftheDAVICDeliverySystem,CMISEmodelsdefinedinITU-TandATMForumarerecommendedinISO/IEC16500-5subclause10.5.3.TakingintoaccountthatthecurrentDAVICspecificationfortheAccessNetworkisATM-based1,thisPartofISO/IEC16500definesCMISEinformationmodelsformanagingtheDAVICAccessNetworkandservicerelateddataintheDeliverySystem.Inthefuture,ifDAVICspecificationsallowaltenativeaccesstechnologies(suchasIP-based),additionalsystemmanagementinformationmodels(suchasSNMPMIB)maybeneeded.Themanagementofthecoexistenceofdifferentaccessnetworktechnologies,usingdifferentprotocols,couldbeachievedthroughinterworkingtools(i.e.,interworkingbetweenCMIPandSNMP)asdescribedinsubclause6.4.Tutorialinformationonaprotocol-independentmodelingtechniqueisalsoprovidedinaninformativeannex.
